In 1985, Phil McCoy started a construction equipment company in Kansas City with one explicit mission: Combine the highest quality equipment with top-notch service to provide the customer with the best options possible. Three decades later, McCoy serves as the president of RoadBuilders, guiding the company with the same values he started with. Four years after starting the company, RoadBuilders became an exclusive Komatsu dealer. In 1992, the company broke into the industrial machining and engine rebuilding business.
