The Sherwin-Williams Company announces it is finalizing plans to build a new global headquarters in downtown Cleveland and a new R&D center in the Cleveland suburb of Brecksville. The plans follow an extensive competitive site selection process and are contingent upon completion of standard due diligence; approvals of incentives and other matters at the state county and city levels; and resolution of business and legal matters that accompany such major real estate investment projects.

Connolly Brothers Inc. , a general contractor and construction management firm, announced it has completed a new 60,000-sq.-ft. corporate office and maintenance facility for W. L. French Excavating Corp. in Billerica, Mass. The company announced in Feb. 2019 that it planned to invest a total of $4.5 billion in five of its existing Michigan plants, and to work with the city of Detroit and state of Michigan on building a new assembly plant within city limits.

A $75 million project known as The Fillmore will reshape downtown Phoenix when it debuts in 2021. Sitting on 2.8 acres, the mixed-use development will include 348 multifamily units and more than 7,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail space. "Currently, downtown Phoenix is home to the state's most diverse population, and, as a result, The Fillmore is designed with the goal of appealing to a wide range of potential renters," said Paul Tuchin, principal of High Street Residential.

SEATTLE (AP) Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan announced that the city this year will invest a record amount of $110 million into affordable housing. The Seattle Times reported the funding will go toward the construction and redevelopment of 1,944 new units across the city.
