Foley Inc. held a One-Day Sales Event May 23, 2019, in Bensalem, Pa. The annual sales event was the first held by Foley Inc. in Bensalem since its acquisition of Ransome CAT in early 2018. The event drew approximately 200 attendees and featured more than 600 pieces of equipment for sale at special pricing.

Effective Feb. 8, 2018, Foley, Inc. of Piscataway, N.J., acquired substantially all of the assets of Giles & Ransome, Inc., headquartered in Bensalem, Pa. This transaction was the result of a mutual agreement between both dealerships and Caterpillar.

Fran Cocco has been promoted to environmental, health and safety manager of Foley Incorporated and is reporting directly to John Kopceuch. Cocco joined Foley in September of 2014 as an equipment management solutions manager in its construction service department.

The Utility & Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey (UTCA) held its 51st annual convention and trade show Sept. 29 through Oct. 2 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J. On Friday, Sept. 30, equipment dealers and construction services companies met with Garden State contractors (and contractors from neighboring states) during the trade show in the Borgata.

Foley Incorporated announced that Brian Vigilante has been promoted to rental services sales manager of Foley Rents and Matt Emerson has been hired as the BCP (building construction product) manager of the machinery sales division. Vigilante joined Foley in June of 2006 as a product support inside sales representative of Power Systems, responsible for prospecting and developing growth within the CSA program.

New Jersey heavy equipment dealers turned out in force March 1 to show their support for a potential Diesel/Equipment Technology program at Union Community College (UCC) in Cranford, N.J. Approximately 90 percent of the state's equipment dealers attended the event, which was intended as a discussion to gauge interest from local businesses in hiring graduates from such a program.
