For Diamond Equipment's customers, including contractors, municipal maintenance employees, farmers and landscape contractors, the dealership's annual Thanksgiving Open House Event has become a welcomed annual tradition. This year however, the celebration also marked Diamond Equipment's 50th Anniversary.

In late October, Hyundai dealers from all across North America converged on the headquarters of Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. in Norcross, Ga., for Heavy Metal Training. The program is a two-day training event for continuing education for Hyundai dealers and their sales and service representatives.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas announced the expansion of its North American authorized dealer network with the addition of Quality Fleet Service Inc. Started in 2005, Quality Fleet is a full service warranty and repair center specializing in forestry and utility equipment.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. announced the addition of Rodolfo "Tito" Sosa to the marketing team. Sosa will be responsible for assisting Hyundai dealers across North America as a product specialist/sales trainer and will work closely with Chad Parker in the product training team.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas unveiled the prototype of a fully electric-powered compact excavator at its exhibit in the ICUEE show. Hyundai and Cummins Inc. collaborated in developing the electric-powered Hyundai R35E compact excavator. "Hyundai is pleased to collaborate with a global industry leader like Cummins to address what both companies expect to be a burgeoning demand for electric-powered compact excavators," said Stan Park, vice president of distribution and marketing, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas.

Attendees will find Hyundai in Booth K345 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville.

Morrish comes to Hyundai Construction Equipment with more than 23 years' experience in the equipment finance and leasing industry.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas announced the expansion of its North American authorized dealer network with the addition of Border Rents. Border Rents has a long tradition of serving the state of Georgia. With the addition of this new dealership, Hyundai's North American network now includes more than 70 dealerships operating in over 150 locations, offering sales, service and parts for the full line of Hyundai excavators, wheel loaders, compaction rollers and other construction equipment.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas is showcasing its focus on equipment solutions for the snow-management market when it participates in the June 25 to 28 SIMA Snow and Ice Symposium in Grand Rapids, Mich. Hyundai is exhibiting an HL955TM wheel loader model outfitted with a Maxxpro hydraulically operated snow plow from Canadian manufacturer Metal Pless, along with several other features appropriate for snow and ice management, such as special tires, a hydraulic quick-coupler for attachments and an all-LED exterior lighting package for enhanced safety and visibility during snow-removal operations.
