Throughout the month of February, the American Heart Association (AHA) is asking the nation to rally together and donate for all the reasons that make life precious. For the fourth year in a row, LBX Company, Lexington, Ky., will support the Life is Why We Give campaign by giving $500 to the AHA for every Link-Belt excavator, forestry machine or material handler retailed in February in North America.

Liebherr USA Co. 's construction equipment division is the 2020 recipient of the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation Partner Award. First presented in 2017, the award recognizes the distinguished service of a manufacturer or service provider that has offered significant contributions to the professional education goals of the AED Foundation.

Messick's Christmas Light Show in Elizabethtown, Pa., raised a total of $42,704.56 from 4,352 cars that attended the event. The light show display ran each evening from Dec. 1 through 30 with the help of volunteers who run the show and collect donations for local charities.

IBEW Local 103 members, staff and family donated hundreds of toys to the 6th Annual "Friends of Mayor Martin J. Walsh Holiday Toy Drive." "Thank you IBEW Local 103 for donating two truckloads of toys this morning to ensure every child can celebrate this holiday season," Walsh said on Twitter.

Messick's Equipment's 7th annual Christmas Light Show has opened. The show, which is free and open to the public, features a drive-up show full of tractors, lights and energy-filled Christmas music. Last year Messick's collected $45,368.40 of donations at the Christmas Light Show, bringing the 6-year total of donations raised to $212,712.02.

Felling Trailers Inc. conducted its seventh annual online auction of an FT-3 drop deck utility trailer to benefit a non-profit organization: Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). A bid of $4,500 won the online auction that closed on Oct. 5th, 2019.

Case Construction Equipment dealer Century Equipment donated use of a Case TV380 compact track loader and CX26C mini-excavator to Team Rubicon for major debris-clearing in La Plata County, Colo. The Team Rubicon effort, which saw the Case equipment move debris, including large rocks, earth and parts of 66 trees, was in response to heavy flooding and landslides in 2018 following the 416 wildfire that burned 55,000 acres in southwest Colorado.

Georgia Utility Contractors Association Inc. (GUCA) Community Service Committee took on the initiative to help the Bahamian residents impacted by Hurricane Dorian as one of this year's community service projects. GUCA members were challenged to donate $1,000 to the relief efforts to help those impacted by the catastrophic hurricane that ravaged the island community.

Kubota Tractor Corporation announced five new farmer veteran tractor recipients as part of its 2019 "Geared to Give" program in partnership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC). For the second year, Kubota honored five veterans, adding a fifth veteran last year to represent its newly-created Midwest operating division.

Case Construction Equipment dealer Miller-Bradford & Risberg supported Team Rubicon's second wave of response to severe storms that originally hit the area in July 2019, including five tornadoes, that caused severe damage across Langlade and Oconto Counties in northeast Wisconsin.
